Halloween Cards with Crate Paper

Hi Ladies! Are you getting ready for Halloween? In my country, we don’t celebrate this holiday, but I enjoy seeing all the fun online and admire the Halloween paper crafts. As this year Crate Paper doesn’t have a special Halloween collection I challenged myself to make card with non-Halloween products. The experience was so really great and love the result as well.

I created the first card with a mix of Maggie Holmes collections. I used the coralish Festival Paper along black and white patterned papers like Carousel Exhibits, Rose Park, Starbright. Once the layers were done, I add black machine stitching to fix the papers. In the middle of the card I made high layering from embellishments. I added fussy cut flowers, Chasing Dreams Thickers, a rosette from Gather Mixed Embellishment pack (I have changed the ribbon under it). On the bottom I added the title Boo... with Gather Black Foam Alphas.

For the second card I used the same color palette and mainly the same materials. The papers are the same as previously, just the embellishments are different. In the middle I placed a Chipboard flower from Carousel 12x12 Chipboard Sheet. Over I add a Heart title from Gather Thickers pack. On the top I added that pretty bow which I found in the Carousel Enamel Sticker pack. So cute, isn’t it?

To finish off my project I created matching envelopes with We R Memory Keepers 123 Punch Board. I even added some black machine stitching to them before assembling.
